    Hi,

I just came across this mobile model (Micromax X115).

The dual simcard (both active) provision in this model really attracted me. Also, it doesnt have a cam which suits my office rules.

As I see the Manufacturer Micromax ( micromaxinfo dot com) is new to the market, I want to know more abt this mobile, like,
    1. Whether, there are any radiation problems with this mobile?
    2. How is the battery life (when compared to good battery life of Nokia basic models)
    3. How far it is shock proof?
    4. What are the major problems and issues with this mobile model and manufacturer, reported so far?

Atlast I bought Micromax X116 (Micromax: Products : Mobile Phones : X116). It is nice, cool and serves the purpose. The UI is not very user-friendly. A typical Nokia user will find bit-difficult for atleast 15-30 days, then will become used to it. As the mobile has to deal with 2 SIM cards with minimal keys, more key strokes are needed to achive some frequent operations (make-call, send/see sms). I like the multiple-alarm feature :-). Battery (though not like Nokia) is good. Charging takes more time. A full charge will keep the mobile alive for 3 - 4 days. Ring tones that come along with the mobile are of very poor quality. As a whole, Micromax X116 is a good mobile (though it has lot of feature-wise disadvantages) as it SERVES the 2-SIM PURPOSE verywell.
