Although no name has been given to Gigabyte's first Android smartphone, Gigabyte has a phone that will run on Google's open source OS in which it will be part of the GSmart series. The GSmart handset will run Android 1.6 and have a trackball that measures at 103 x 54 x 13.4mm.

Russia will be the first to see the Gigabyte GSmart Android phone in February at the price of 9,000 RUB ($300 or €212).
