So I'm due for an upgrade (AT&T) in two days. Problem is, I can't seem to find anything (that I can afford) that has all of the features that I regularly use on my Ericsson W760...particularly its uses as a modem. It doesn't requite any special data plan, but is able to tether a computer to its data network (HSDPA/EDGE/Whatever) through USB or Bluetooth. A mobile WiFi hotspot would be awesome, but I'd be happy with a simple USB modem.

I also regularly use its GPS with google maps (I'm a pizza hut driver), as well as internet browsing and occasionally mass-storage mode, where it essentially becomes a flash drive. I have to be able to use Opera Mini, because anything else on my town's EDGE network is terrible. (though it's a Java app, so I think just about anything can run it...)

I'd like to be able to do all of that without an expensive smartphone plan. I'm on a standard unlimited data plan right now, and I'm not sure if that would transfer over...though if there's a particularly inexpensive one I'd be happy with it. The power and software-superiority of a real smartphone would definitely come in handy.

A touch screen would be nice, but I do like to have buttons as well. Maybe a slide-out keypad of some sort?

Also, durability is a factor, though this will be a tough act to follow. My W760 has been to hell and back, and apart from a cracked "call" button still functions perfectly. My brother's got run over by an SUV and only suffered a cracked screen.

Thanks in advance for any help folks...I'm not exactly educated when it comes to this market.
