Re: Sell Your Used Cell Phone
The problem comes when you keep your phone for 2 years or longer because by then the technology is old. They do swap them out but sometimes the phone isn't worth anything or not very much. That is what happened with my Blackberry Bold a few years ago. I usually end up giving them to cell phones for soldiers. They recycle the phones and use them for our soldiers.

Re: Sell Your Used Cell Phone
Nice, just found out this site and surprised that sellcell exist in this forum. Sellcell is a very good comparison site. You can compare easily between many recycle company on the net.
Just FYI, beware for those that offer high price. Because in the end there will be many problems, one of the main problem is reliability issue. They also very tricky after you send the phone, most likely they will email you said that they only could pay you half of their original quote with million of reasons that they've made.
I can say that because I'm in used cell phones business and know how this things work. Choose only the site that not only offer good price but choose the best one. So far, I only know gazelle.com as the best and Bikair.com as the second best. But recently, I see gazelle cannot maintain their performance, too many bad review against them. However, Bikair does the opposite. I never heard any bad feedback (I also becoming their partner too before).
So last but not the least, if you go to the site and find a lot of offers for your phones. Don't go for the highest offer so quickly, it's wise to check the 2nd/3rd or even to the 5th. Because the differences maybe only 10%-20% between them but the result is different.

Re: Sell Your Used Cell Phone
This is one good example to explain what I tried to say. To check the price of the Galaxy S2 in sellcell, you can just type "Galaxy S 2 t989" on the search bar of their website.
As of today, I see the top 3 price offers is at
1. $183
2. $135
3. $118.80
Do you see how big the price gap ? I bet that if you blindly choose the top 1 at $183, you will be in trouble. Either they tried to re-quote to much lower offer or they returned the phone back to you (that might cost you a fee).
There's too many recycle company these days. Once again, don't just choose the highest offer but choose the one that reliable and trusted. For me, I choose Bikair as I've good experience with them

I have also been curious about Bikair for a while. Finally, I sold my iPhone 4S for $350 because of the iPhone 5. They were very fast, simple transaction, I don't need to pay anything because they offer free shipping, they have their manager contacted me too and I guess they did it to everyone else to make sure everything is okay.
I really like Bikair than anyone else so far, no wonder many of Apple fanatic fans choose them.
