hello i am phone shopping atm and have come down to 2 i am interested in the Motorola photon 4g and the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. my question is, do i need a world phone to text over to Europe? right now i have a HTC Touch Pro2 which is a world capable phone and i text there fine. the Samsung is not world capable but is it my sprint plan that allows me to text there or is it my phone. i know it sounds silly but i want to cover everything b4 making my complete decision. Thanks everyone in advance for your advice

It was your phone and not your carrier that allowed you to text overseas. I am in the same boat your are with Verizon. I am constantly overseas, and as such am limited to only world phones to choose from. It sucks most of the time, but in my case Verizon is coming out with some pretty nice phones I can use over there.

So to answer your question, it's the phone not the carrier.
You are CRUNCHY, and taste good with Ketchup!!
