Changing the System Language:

  1. From the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
  2. Select "System settings"
  3. Tap "Language & input" > "Language"
  4. Select the desired language from the list

Changing Ringtones and Notification Sounds:

  1. From any of the home screens, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "Customization"
  3. Tap "Phone ringtone" or "Notification ringtone"
  4. Browse through the list of ringtones and select the one that you wish to use
  5. Tap "OK"

Enabling / Disabling Touch Sounds:

  1. Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen
  2. Tap "System settings" > "Sound"
  3. Mark or unmark the "Touch sounds" check box

Setting a New Wallpaper:

  1. From the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "Wallpaper"
  3. Select the wallpaper that you wish to change. Either "Home" or "Lock screen"
  4. Choose a source for the new wallpaper, such as "Gallery", "Live Wallpapers" or "Wallpapers"
  5. Select the image that you wish to use as your wallpaper
  6. Tap "Set Wallpaper" or "Done"

Adjusting the Screen Brightness:

  1. Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen
  2. Select "System settings"
  3. Tap "Display" > "Brightness"
  4. To make the screen adjust itself depending on the lighting conditions, mark the "Automatic brightness" check box
  5. To manually adjust to the desired brightness level, unmark the "Automatic brightness" check box and drag the slider to the left or right
  6. Press "OK" to save the changes

Setting a Screen Lock:

  1. From the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
  2. Select "System settings" and tap "Security"
  3. Tap "Screen lock"
  4. Select one of the following methods of locking:
    • Long Press: allows you to unlock your screen with a "touch and hold" gesture
    • Face Unlock: enables you to use the front-facing camera and face recognition software to unlock the device. (A pattern or PIN will also be required, as a backup method)
    • Pattern: enables you to set a pattern lock
    • PIN or Password: requires a PIN or a Password to unlock the device
