I'm in the garage a lot so instead of using my data network I would like to pickup the wifi from my house. If I'm right outside the door I get it but once I go inside I can't. Is there some kind of booster I can install in my garage to stretch the signal? I don't really want to install something in the house there already to much junk in there lol. Thanks

Those apps don't actually boost anything. They simply disable the antenna and re-enable it again which will reconnect your phone to the closest tower.

Signal Booster can help you gain signal strength and its a small thing that fits well.

Yes, you have a few options. You should make sure your wi-fi router is up to date with updates, etc. (and you have a current model). You should also consider moving the router if possible to maximize coverage. If that doesn't work, you could get a Wi-Fi booster.

Yes. I try to avoid those apps as they usually don't do anything you can't do yourself using your phone or router's settings.
