Via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Afterwards you can easily re-sync the contacts from the account with the ZTE Axon Pro

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Click the “Info” tab in the phone’s summary page
  5. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” in the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. Lastly, switch to the ZTE Axon Pro, add the same Google account to it and allow it to sync contacts with your Android device

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before, your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access it on a computer with internet access and export the contacts as a VCF file for Android use

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click “Contacts” and select the ones you want to export
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard"
  5. After the file is downloaded on your computer, import it to “Google Contacts”, or alternatively skip this step and instead:
  6. Connect the ZTE Axon Pro to your PC via USB and manually transfer the VCF file to its storage. Then use the “Contacts” app and the “Import” function to add the vCard file’s contents to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: There are ways to transfer your contacts cross-platform without needing a computer. You can use third party apps such as “My Contacts Backup”, which are designed for contact transfer. This iOS app allows you to back up your contacts and transfer them to another device via email

  1. Install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone via the App Store
  2. Launch the app
  3. Tap “Backup
  4. Once the backup file is created, tap “Email” to compose a new email
  5. Make sure the backup file is attached to the email, and send it to your own address
  6. Switch to the ZTE Axon Pro and open the email, then download the attached file
  7. Import the file’s contents using “Import” in the “Contacts” app

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Last but not least you can use “Send Anywhere”. It’s another third party app for iOS and Android. It uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other file types, even cross-platform, without the need of a computer

  1. Install “Send Anywhere” on your iPhone and ZTE Axon Pro from the App Store and Google Play Store respectively
  2. Launch the application on both smartphones
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
  5. Lastly select a transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone to create a code that can be scanned with the ZTE’s camera. You can also tap “Receive” on the ZTE Axon Pro and enter the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone
