Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the Conquest and computer
- Drag the “Notification” bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a “disk drive”
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, double-click “Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer”
- Open the “Media” directory
- Launch a second Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your PC
- Copy the files and paste them in the “Media” folder, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” directories
- Once the transfer is complete, click the phone storage in the system tray > “Safely Remove Hardware” and disconnect your phone
Change the Call Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to “Settings”
- Under “Device” tap “Sound”
- Scroll to “Call Ringtone & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use from the list and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card cannot have custom ringtones.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the contact you want to add a custom ringtone to
- Tap the “Edit” button shaped like a pencil
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to “Settings”
- Under “Device”, tap “Sound & notification”
- Scroll to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification and tap “OK”
