Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the OnePlus 2 to the computer via USB
- Drag the status bar down and ensure the phone is connected as a “Disk Drive”
- In the AutoPlay window on the PC, double-click “Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer”
- Access the “Media” directory on the phone
- Launch a second Explorer window and navigate to the desired audio files on the PC
- Copy the files and paste them in the “Media” folder on the phone, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Alarms” / “Notifications” directories
- Once the transfer is complete, click “Mass Storage Device” in the system tray and eject the phone storage
- Safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to “Settings”
- Under “Device”, tap “Sound”
- Under “Call Ringtone & Vibrate” tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned to contacts located on the phone memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts” and select the desired contact
- Tap the “Edit” icon shaped like a pencil
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select a ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Swipe to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Under “Sound” tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the notification sound you want to use and tap “OK”
