Using iTunes:

NOTE: In case you have iTunes installed on a computer connected to the Internet, you can use the application to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Alcatel Pop 3 (5).

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the PC
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone to access the device’s summary page
  4. Go to the “Info” tab and turn on “Sync Contacts With
  5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” to select an existing one
  7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
  8. Once done, switch to the Alcatel device, register the same Google account, and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection, and export the contacts as a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the PC. Once done, import it to “Google Contacts” or skip this step and instead:
  7. Connect the Alcatel Pop 3 (5) to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import the file’s contents using the “Contacts” app

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can be used to transfer iPhone contacts via email, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  3. Launch the app and tap “Backup
  4. After the contact backup file is created, tap “Email
  5. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached to it
  6. Send the email to your own address
  7. On the Alcatel Pop 3 (5), open the email and download the attached vCard
  8. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the “Contacts” app

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use to transfer contacts without a computer is “Send Anywhere” (Android and iOS). The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Plays Store and install the same app on the Alcatel device
  3. Launch the application on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Pop 3’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the Alcatel and manually enter the transfer code from the iPhone
