Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB Connection between the Lenovo K4 Note and computer
- On the home screen, drag the “Status” bar down and make sure “Media device (MTP)” is selected
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files you want to use for ringtones / notifications
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, in the “Ringtones” / “Notification” / “Alarms” directories
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray
- Safely disconnect the Lenovo K4 Note from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
- Scroll to “Call ringtone & vibrate”
- Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the “Settings” menu
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap “OK” to confirm
