Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the BLU Studio Energy 2 to your PC via USB
- On the home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down and make sure “Media device (MTP)” is selected
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC, and copy them
- Transfer the files on the phone, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notification” / “Alarms” folders under “Media”
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer and go to “Settings”
- Tap “Sound” under “Device”
- Scroll to “Call ringtone & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you wish to use and tap “OK” to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification sound” under “Sound”
- Select the notification sound you wish to use and tap “OK”
