Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Zenfone 2 Deluxe to your computer via USB
- On the phone’s home screen, drag the “notification” bar down
- In the notification area, make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on your PC and copy them
- Paste the files in the “Media” directory on your phone, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directory
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
- Tal “Phone ringtone” under “Call Ringtones & Vibrate”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & notifications”
- Scroll to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap “OK” to confirm
