I think that the LG 5350 is one of the best with ringers it does have a 42 chord ringer when most phones only have a 16 chord ringer

    Nokia 3510, 7210 (4 polyphonic)
    Nokia 7650 (16 polyphonic)
    Nokia 6610 (I think 16 polyphonic)

For other markets the Europe just use the first two digits of the designation as the second two usually dertermine the market

What do you mean a phone that lets you download ringtones? Do you mean download ringtones by a cable or what?

Basically all polyphonic phones allow ringtone download via WAP or Internet; formats used are SP MIDI for NOKIA (regardless of 4 or 16 voices, i.e. 3510 or 6610 ); it seems there are limitations of file size - I have never succeeded in downloading anything larger than 8k; The same midi files are suitable for Siemens C55 , this one accepts ADPCM wav files as well, the only limitation being free memory available. For Samsung 600/620 and T100 , as well, presumably, for LG an Panasonic (still haven't got any of them to test) there are Yamaha SMAF standard mmf files, maximum 8K for 600 series and 16K for T100; once again I was never able to download anything larger that 8K via wap. Of course, these limitations can be avoides using data cable or IR.
