the long wait is over! now the P800 has a video recorder application (camcoder). it records up to 10 seconds of video and saves it in mp4 format. its in beta stage as of now so there's no audio (yet). it's pretty neat.

Thats cool, but I'm not sure we will ever see a good quality video recorder for the P800, because the camera API was never publically released. =( | | | | |

hmmm, are you sure? coz i have a copy of the camera API here in my hard drive. would you like me to send it to you so you can verify if it's real or not?

i dont think this phone will do too well in the USDM market since it's priced fairly on the extravagent side. | | | | |

it is for the high end market... it will survive even if it doesnt fair well in the US. but ive heard that a lot of people have it there. ill find out when i go back there next year.

hmmm... doesnt look anywhere near crap to me. the most "crappy" looking phone to me is some of the newer nokias. but if you look beyond the exterior, you'll find out they're all very powerful pieces of technology.
