Is there any such thing as a basic, no frills cell phone? I am a Cingular customer and just want to make and receive calls, NO camera, photo, internet-nada, nicht just a very loud ring and solid performer. My current Nokia is about 4 years old and Cingular laughs at me when I ask about a service upgrade.

i don't think there no such as (no frills cell phone) if you like just the basic phone why not search for ebay. nokia 5190 unlock you can get it for $20. nokia 3390 $30. Nokia 8290 $40.

Sprint is offering the Nokia 6016i. It's a basic no internet, no camera phone for FREE.

Yeah, sprint has some good phones that i think would classify as "no frills". Check em out :O)
