I just wanted to know if their is anyway to sign up my Samsung phone with a pay as you go carrier? I really dont want to sign up with a plan and I already have a fairly new Samsung that isnt active right now. Does any one know if their is anyone I can contact if you don't know? Thanks for your help.

i really dont think that its locked....
it works just fine now that i got it charged up. it says cingular on the front of it so i dont know if that means i HAVE to use that...

Were you planning on going with Cingular as your pre-pay provider? If so, you shouldn't have any problems. If you planned on going with another GSM provider, you might have a problem as the phone is branded/locked onto Cingular.

i wasn't planning on using any pre pay provider i just got this cell phone and it has nothing with it. it was a gift. an old unused one. i want to know if anyone has done this.
in the back behind the battery there's a card that says cingular wireless 62095 32k gt slb. i have no idea what that means either but it must be something....
