    Yep. Verizon's prepaid services just flat out suck. They obviously aren't choosing to be competitive in that regime.

    it doesn't seem like Verizon really needs to be competitive in that realm because they have such a large market share for post paid service.

    it is still possible to get a phone that operates on Verizon's CDMA network by using locus platinum. They operate on Verizon's towers, however are not Verizon and offer much better deals.

    Have you considered bundling your cingular with your sbc services onto one bill? it saves you money.

    plus, maybe the cingular people with sbc will be able to give you a smaller regional plan with a better price since you use it so little. i'm not sure of their availability, but something to look into.

    Doesn't do me any good because Cingular's service is complete crap everywhere I go. It's especially bad where my new house is.

    Help, does anyon know what code ptf 6180 means, when I call a prepaid cingular number I get no rings, goes to not available code ptf 6180. tried from different phones with same results.
