Hello members,
I decided to start this thread to help anyone who has been going crazy looking to reverse a cell phone number. Let me start by saying, I am a licensed and bonded private detective in the state of Florida. I conduct cell phone investigations for a living to track wanted fugitives for a bounty hunter and in between I help people find out who their significant other is talking to. By no means am I an expert but, I have been doing this for about 2 years and have some knowledge. Anyway now that you know a little about me, let's go on.
First, Web Detective,Net Detective and any other site you pay a one time mebership fee: All FREE links. That's it. 29.95 for the same thing you can google (if you type in the right words). Promises of FBI records and phone searches, all free websites.
Second FREE reverse cell phone searches, do NOT exist. It's a waste of time to look. There are no cell phone directories.
Third Companies that charge per number. O.k., I run my own site, have a 90% accuaracy rate and a no hit no fee policy:
www.caseclosedinc.com
Theres the plug. I only charge $40 for a reverse trace but, it's worth it because your basically hiring an investigator for $40. Now other companies charge a minimum of $59 per search, per number. I'm not here to knock them but, check them out before you pay. Make sure there is a no hit no fee policy like I have and, they aren't in the middle of a lawsuit. 1st Source Information Specialists, Inc., d/b/a locatecell.com, celltolls.com, datafind.org and peoplesearchamerica.com are currently being prosecuted so there goes
your privacy.

Other companies such as Locate America charge $5.99 but, they have a 20% hit rate.
Intellus and UsSearch charge $14.99 per search. They both have the same results. Their addresses are 2 years old and they charge you first and put a hold on your card for about a week before they tell you "sorry no results found".
Again, there is no cell phone number directory. Any instant search will either be inaccurate or you won't recieve the results and your card will have a hold on it for the amount of purchase.
If you want to find out if the number is a cell or landline, then use 411.com or fonefinder.net.
Here's a tip for those of you with your significent others cell phone bill in your hand: Time, frequency and length of the call is what you are looking for. Narrow down your search to a few numbers only. Don't pay me $40 a pop if he/she called that number 3 times last month at noon. I use a basic system which goes like this:
#1 I format the bill in Excel (not necessary).
#2 I seperate the numbers in to columns of frequency/time/length. When I find that a person has called a number more than 10 times a month, for more than 10 mins or at 2 am, I log it. Now I know what numbers to run.
#3 Use
www.411.com. It tells me if it's a cell or if it's listed and gets me the results fo free.
#4 Any number I couldn't find for free I use my system and within a few hours I know who my subject is talking to.
That's pretty much it. Heres a few helpful links to assist in your search. I hope I have helped in relieving the frustration involved in this process.
