Qwest Supported Phones

Hi guys,

I am with Qwest right now, and I need to get a new phone. On the quest website there are only a few phones to choose from, no of which are really great. Can I use any phone with Qwest and they just want to sell me their phone or do I have to use one from there website? How does buying a phone on eBay work, will it work with any provider?
