I have registered here to get help on getting out of my current cell phone contract because the service doesn't work and is steadly getting worse. I have put up with this service for years. They want a crazy amount to get out of the contract which is crazy. Anyways, if anyone has any information on people to contact to get out of a contract without paying crazy fees that would be great. I use Cellular One and live in a rural area but other providers have towers here and customers using other service have no problems. I am on call 24.7 and must have connection always, which I have explained to this company. Anyways, they are being very difficult.

I can't wait to get out of my contract. Unfortunately, the ETF's are crazy high like you said. That's what cellular contracts are all about. Once they got you, they got you. You either have to pay your way out or wait for the time to elapse. If you complain enough, you might get a free monthly fee waived or something, but it probably isn't worth your time.

What carrier are you going to go with next? I got AT&T now, thinking about maybe Verizon.. they have strong coverage where I am. T-mobile looks good too... but I just don't know... In either case, I gotta wait until Feb 08 =\
