this will be my first cell phone and i am pretty sure prepay is right for me. i read a bit about Page Plus and 700mins for $50 seems very reasonable. do i have to buy a phone from their website if i decide to go with them? if not where can i find a good video phone at the best price?
the only other good deal i saw was from Trackphone where you can buy a cheap phone and 2 60min cards for 20$ up to 3 times then use a promo code to double the cards so almost 800mins and 3 cheap phones for 60$+shipping.
what prepay company and phone do you think i should check out?
thanks ahead of time for your advice.

Re: Prepay Advice
Any of the major carriers have decent pre-paid plans.
Tracfone in the past didn't offer the best pricing on minutes but have been better lately. Generally any on the Big 4, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint & AT&T are going to be the actual provider whether or not you get Tracfone or another MVNO. The "big 4" resell their services to the smaller pre-paid services. And the smaller pre-paids only rebrand the service into their own name. So if you go right to the big guys you are already cutting out the middle man.
Hope that helps.

Re: Prepay Advice
You do not need to purchase a Page Plus phone from their website. You can use any Verizon Wireless phone. Make sure it does not need to be activated on Verizon Wireless and with a contract. Also make sure that it has a clear esn. You might be interested in the Motorola E815. Page Plus' rates are very reasonable. I am very happy with my Page Plus service. I hope I was able to help you.
