    Hey all,
I'm a student at Clemson University currently with Sprint. My contract's up and I hate my RAZR and I was hoping to change to something a little better.

Just today my roommate apparently called me numerous times and I didn't hear the phone ring a single time, nor did I get any missed call notifications. I only get 1 bar average here in my apartment, probably due to whatever material the roof made out of... talking in here is completely out of the question, and text messaging only SOMETIMES works. If I step outside, I get a solid 2-3 bars.

Tmobile's hot spot service sounds VERY intriguing to me, as I already have my own wireless network set up here. The only problem is, Tmobile doesn't have coverage here. So are there any other networks that have this neat service?

If not, what are some other things I could try? I was thinking about buying a repeater but they are WAYYY expensive. I think one of my roommates with Cingular gets a slightly better signal than I do, but I dont want to switch plans if the improvement is only marginal...

Ugh. I'm so frustrated. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Actually, what I think I'm going to do is have my parents open the account in Atlanta. I'll still get the wireless up here, and I'll have roaming for parts of campus that isn't wireless. Still open to suggestions, though.
