i don't use my cell phone alot as i usually have a real phone where i am.
therefore i am looking for prepaid plans.
i have virgin mobile now and i hate having to pay every few months for minutes that i will never use. i have a bunch of minutes stacked up right now.

i am looking for a prepaid plan where i only have to pay like once a year and not for an insane amount of money. any suggestions?

AT&T seems to have the most coverage in NY. they also have free long distance. so i am leaning towards them right now.. but their plans kind of suck

verizon also has great coverage but their daily payment plan is horrendous

Try Tracfone or tmobile they have the 1 year prepaid card. But again check their coverage to make sure you are covered
