Ok, its time for me to get a cell phone. My mother is wanting one too.
I have been looking and looking for cheap plans. Every thing i find is over 30 bucks a month, and then theres all those other mothly fees that get added on. Im not sure if we should go on a shared plan, or pay-go or just go on separate plans. Pay and go plans are preaty cheap, but im not sure if you can get packages and such with pay-go. I live in Ontario Canada (Toronto area). We dont need many minutes (50 minutes a month is fine). I would be usieng the phone for txting (Not many) And instant msnging (so a good unlimited package for IM would be nice) And if i was to have an Instant msging plan, i dont need a txt plan.
I dont know how plans, and such work. I have been doing alot of reading on it, but its still fuzzy.
As for the phones. I am willing to buy online. And i would buy Unlocked phones so if i do go on a pay-go plan, i dont have to chose one of their phones.
So please give me a hand. What plans would be best for me and my mothers needs?
And also, right now we have out Internet and cable (And i think our home phone) with Rogers. So would we get any deals?
