I am an owner of a newly renovated smoke shop and convenient store and I want to start a cell phone business within the shop. I have a specific counter dedicated for the cell phones and need advice on how to get started to make this a successful venture.

I need to get information on At&T, Sprint, Nextel, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Verizon and any other companies that are available.

I would appreciate any comments / feedback.

    Regards,
    Hema

Take a trip out of your immediate area and stop by some of the Authorized Dealer cell phone stores. Then ask if they would let you buy cell phones through them and activate them under their account.

My experience is that most are willing to do this because it adds to their monthly numbers for spiffs and such.

    Good luck.

I have a solution for you that I am also involved with that would allow you to offer cell phones and services without the necessity of buying inventory, etc...This is truly a great way to create residual income without having to invest significant monies in to the business. I would post a link to the site but this Forum does not allow posting of URL's to prevent spam but reply back to this if you care to get additional information and I will find a way to provide it to you.

    Best,

Given the restrictive nature of communicating on this site unless you have previously posted with regularity, I am unable to send you either a PM or an e-mail. I attempted to respond to your Hotmail e-mail account but it was rejected. Do you have a valid e-mail account that I could send you some additional information?

I have been a wireless dealer for years and trust me it is a very difficult business to excell in. Carrier contracts have changed and commissions have been on a downward spiral. Cash is king, and trust me the cost of inventory is a killer.

Mobile Direct offers a better option for you.

Go to TheMobileDirect.com They offer an affiliate program where you can use their site to sell all major carriers nationwide an recieve great commissions. The best part is you don't need to purchase inventory. Everything is shipped directly to the customer. It's a great way to offer a new product line to your customers, receive a new income stream and not have to invest a ton of money! All you do is have customers activate using your code and Mobile Direct sends you a commission check!

This opportunity is quite different and superior to any offering available today within the wireless industry and costs less than $50 to open your own wireless store. Spend 5 minutes and check out the information at the following site:

That's a nice idea. What's the going rate for that? Do you get a one time bounty per customer or do you make a monthly residual? Or, do you just get the equipment commission?

Re: Want to open a new cell phone business

There are a number of different income streams that are available including an ongoing, monthly residual for each of your customers when they pay their cell phone bills. I would encourage you to visit my website on the link I previously provided to you and review the Opportunity section. If you are still interested and care to spend 30 minutes viewing a detailed online business presentation I will send you the link. It is anonymous and can be viewed at your leisure. Finally, for this month, their is no enrollment fee to join as a representative - only the $49 monthly charge to maintain your online store. This is indeed a huge opportunity for anyone interested in creating monthly residual income on a product and service that we all use already.

Hope to hear back from you,
    Steve
