Re: List of GSM phone carriers

There is also Viaero Wireless in Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska: as far as phones go there are quite a few you can look on ebay for "GSM Unlocked" phones or check out www.gsmarena.com to get reviews and specifications.

I have consumer cellular and they have a sim card that you can get to use in an AT & T phone and any GSM phones.

    Wet cell phone

forgot to note the date on that post about wet phone....I have known of many that have gone through wash cycles~! take out battery, and leave back off and phone in front of dehumidifier OR...on the floor in front of your refrigerator. Warm dry air will fix it over night if not too late. works on hearing aids, all electronic things.

I've heard something similar, that as long as the devices aren't turned on after they get wet they should be fine after drying.

I haven't had to experience it though.

It would be nice if more devices were waterproof or water resistant. I had a cell phone that was water resistant and it was nice because I wouldn't need to worry about it getting damaged or needing to let it dry if it got wet.
