I have a cell phone in Canada. I'm giving it to a person in Israel to use there forever. What do I need to do to make this work? The phone's GSM and Israel's GSM match. I want to make the phone be national in Israel. So the user would have a contract and pay monthly but the calls they make within Israel would be cheap, or even free, depending on the phone plan they will buy there. I'm basically asking can I get a phone from Canada, and get a phone plan for it in Israel and use it in Israel forever?
