    Re: Sprint, AT&T or Verizon?

Well, this completely depends on your personal needs and your location.

    Sprint PCS

    The Good:

    • Better Pricing
    • Reliable Voice and Data Coverage, nationwide.

    The Bad

    • Horrible customer service (which is improving)
    • The monthly bill can sometimes "spontaneously rise" each month
    • The coverage isn't as large as the other two providers. Where coverage is available, they have superior coverage, however.

Overall, I wouldn't go to Sprint PCS. They cover major areas and roads more than rural areas. They always change price plans and most people are not happy with their customer service.

    AT&T

    The Good:

    • Rollover minutes
    • National Coverage
    • Some pretty cool devices

    The Bad:

    • They advertise a better 3G experience, but they have one of the smallest 3G networks.
    • Pricing is high
    • Dropped calls are higher than most other carriers.
    • General call quality also suffers
    • Customer Service varies and some days may seem excellent and others are horrible.

AT&T suffers but has drastically improved since they held the Cingular name. Their pricing is high, the same as Verizon, except they include rollover. Their customer service could definitely be improved; however, they are taking steps to improve it (like optional surveys). Their 3G network is hardly able to be called "national". They are expanding this quickly, however.

    Verizon Wireless

    The Good:

    • Large coverage area (3G and voice is nationwide)
    • Cool devices (like the Moto DROID)
    • Great customer service (with almost every call)
    • Excellent retail stores experience
    • Options for everyone (a variety of prepaid and contract plans that allows you to be in control)

    The Bad:

    • Expensive (and no rollover)
    • They are slower to release new things (because of extensive testing).

Verizon Wireless is the carrier I use and always will. I travel many miles per year across the U.S. and have not found one carrier that covers me completely the entire way, the entire time. I have been pleased by their customer service and their plan offerings. I feel like I need to take out a loan to pay them, sometimes, though.

I have used all three carriers above and still test devices on all three carriers above.
