i want to transfer our landline phone # (provided by Time Warner Cable) to my wife's net10 cell phone (which is active and in use most of the time).

on Net10 site, it explains that once i port the landline over, it will disconnect my digital phone service with Time Warner (which is fine).

what I'm wondering is - will time warner kick me in the @&& for doing said option? and what can i expect from either company?
