Greetings folks, I hope someone can help me with a question I have.

Firstly I live in the UK and I have a HTC Hero on contract which is due to end next month just before I travel to the States to visit family for 3 months and I am looking into getting set up with a PAYG SIM while I'm out there to use with my Hero.

I don't expect to be using that many call minutes but whatever used will be split between 50/50 USA domestic calls and international (UK) calls.

I'm also a data junkie and will be checking email, facebook and running data hungry apps while I'm there.

Looking at the setup for prepaid plans it's completely different there in the US. There seems to me many different ways of purchasing plans ranging to expensive prepaid bundles with bulk minutes/data to daily fees from $1-$3 per day with unlimited talk time etc.

Basically what do you think will work out the best for my requirements?
