I have a Sony Walkman phone now. I am unhappy but thankfully my contract is about to run out. I have simple needs, as I use my cell phone very little and I don't like multipurpose electronic appliances. My needs are:
1. A flip kind of phone
2. Compact
3. Big keys and big screen. I am 60 and my eyesight is not so good.
4. Built in recorder. I know this is a tough one. I had a Motorola "vader" phone (v something) that had an EXTERNAL BUTTON which allowed me to do brief recordings and listen to them later or record a call. I used it to record "remember to get potatoes on the way home, etc." I don't want to work my way through menus to do this.
5. No contract. I want to buy my phone.
6. How do I sign up for minutes. Plan, per-minute billing or prepaid phone cards.
7. I am interested in saving money and having a phone that is easy to use.
8. I don't want to text. I just don't want to be that available.
9. A built in camera would be nice but not necessary.
