Needing help with a samsung sch r355c for a computer dummy!!

I have a Samaung SCH R355c through Straight Talk and would like to download some games /apps to it. Everything I have read says that I would have to download to my laptop then compress and zip the file to my phone. Basically a Foreign language to me. I would like to get opera mini and other various apps games. ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!

If you download a file, you can transfer it to the phone by plugging in your phone, clicking on "My Computer", selecting your phone, finding the file, and dragging and dropping it. Depending on your phone, you might need a special program that will allow you to transfer data to the phone.

If it isn't a smartphone it can be complex to get other unsupported applications on the phone. Have you tried searching the forum?
