I have been the victim of hacking for a year (or more). They have had full access to my phone and full or partial access to the three lines attached to the account (four phones in all). They can turn it on or off, listen through the microphone even when off, type text messages from one phone to the other, GPS etc. In addition, my Comcast system has been hacked into with full control of TV, computer (which they trashed at one point) and land line telephone (even controlling battery power in receiver. My carrier is Verizon Wireless and my phone is an LG (I'm not sure of the model number) It is black. I tried changing my number and having phone cleared but it didn't work. As you can tell I am NOT knowelegable about these things. My question or need is to understand how this works. I am not sure that this is the correct forum for this. If anyone can help me or direct me to someone who could I would appreciate it. Thanks

Re: Victim of hacking
Your post was buried in another thread and I moved it here.
It seems very unlikely that someone would have access to turn a phone on or off remotely. If anything it sounds like someone has cloned your phone which would let them receive anything that you do on the phone.
I'm curious if you ever got this resolved and figured out what was going on.

Re: Victim of hacking
I am a little curious too, did you daisy chain any of your accounts together? It sounds a little odd honestly, as I have read over many hack attempts (and successes) but nothing like this. What did your carrier say when you reported this?
