I'm a Solavei member and i have to say it is by far the WORST phone company i've ever dealt with. While they are a MVNO of T-Mobile, That's where the service and support ends. I've been without MMS texting for a week and a half while they "Address" this issue. It's not just me. Alot of people are posting in the Support forum about how pissed off they are that Solavei won't fix this, They say it's a T-Mobile issue but if it was it would be fixed already.
Other common issues/problems with Solavei, Many members don't have WEB or text working and it's not a APN problem, It's a Solavei problem.
Their $49.00 plan comes to 57.00 after tax,
They claim iPhones work on their network but they dont mention that if it's a older ATT iphone (iPhone 4 or older) you'll have practically zero WEB speed. (Data) (Wrong phone frequency's from ATT to work well on T-mobile towers)
So you say call customer service huh?? LOL Customer Service is in Guatemala and hold times are over an HOUR!! Then all they can do is read from a script. They'll tell you a CSR will call back in 30 minutes, That call never comes.. Webchat support is discontinued. Support forum is unmanned by a Tech Support person!! (Sometimes you might see an answer after a day or so.. Or when the support person gets home from his day job and feels like answering something)
Yeah im ragging bad on them but they deserve it.
I actually came to this site to look for other pay as you go options that i can use my unlocked HTC phone with.
I don't really have a problem with T-Mobile, I just wanted to warn people about this before they consider looking into SOLAVEI.
Trust me, Tin cans on a string are better than them.
Adding, You can make money by signing up new people but i cant recommend the service to anyone.

Thanks for providing feedback. I'm curious what network the iPhone 4 you are using was originally for and if the settings were updated to work with their network?

I was using a ATT iPhone 3G and it has different frequency's than what T-Mobile uses. I've heard from some iPhone 4 users that they had very slow data. Isolated incidents? Maybe
As an update, They finally fixed the MMS issues.. After 14 days.
