Good news! I have figured out how to get my own ringtones without a USB cable and without BitPim. Much less complicated if you ask me. I just used NCH Swiftsound to edit my music files. I cut the section I want, with a compression rate of 32000, and save it as a .wav file, using the lowest conversion rate. The sound quality is excellent! Afterward, I change the .wav to a .
midi and am able to see the file in my phone after I transfer it to the microSD card. Yay for me!!!
