Since the beginning, Androlib has been tracking the number of applications in Google's Android Market.

Apple boasts they have 100,000 apps or more...well, they do...BUT they've had 3 or so years (maybe more) to get a number this large.

In December, Google closed with over 20,000 apps! Look at the graph below:



This graph shows the number of applications and games added each month since July.

The total of apps seem to be adding up very quickly...and the numbers will only be increasing.

It is expected by Q2 2010, there will be 50,000+ apps and games.
