I am trying to decide between Android and Windows Mobile. Other than apps, what is the advantage of Android?

I have always used Outlook for contacts, calendar, tasks, etc. , but have been considering using Google apps for this. Whats the advantage for using Google apps rather than Outlook?

If you use an Android phone and make changes on it regarding contacts, calandar, etc... does this automatically update on your Google apps? I know with a WM device you have to connect it to your PC and sync it.

    Thanks! : )

I prefer android over window mobile. Generally WM has a lot of good features, but most WM phones come with some kind of UI over it. This is just redundant and ads bloat to everything, IMO. Android is much more open and there are lots more apps available for it.

You can still use outlook and google if you want - there are several ways to sync between the two. Regardless everything will sync with your phone and google.
