#46 | | Super Guy! | The error you got probably means the email address or number you tried to send pictures to is invalid. Is this some kind of contest? I couldn't find any info on google about "americas best mobile pics" and my best guess is the contest ended and they deleted the email address for submissions.

It is an app for camera phones that has monthly contests.
with Wallpaper maker i was able to upload pics to their webside from my computer but with ABMP i cant do that. I think it is something with my phone/service since i both say the address is invalid, but it is the address i got from them and the contest is still going on.

#48 | | Super Guy! | Okay, gotcha. Unfortunately, it sounds to me like the person you should be asking is the staff of funmail.com, they probably know more about it than any of us do. Good luck!

#50 | | | Hmmmm...
open a picture
use the crop tool(3rd down on the left on the toolbar for me) to select a vaguely right shape (taller than wide)
Image>crop
Image>Image size
Choose 176 for the width (or 220 for the height, but not both) and enter
Image>Image size (again) see how close you came with the dimensions... the result should be CLOSE to 176x220, but a few pixels hanging in either direction probably won't be noticed
crop again as necessary
There's probably a easier way... but that's how I do it when I wanna crop my wee guy's pictures for my phone

#51 | | IT Professional, The Mod! | Nice one Jeanie! but I think he want's to resize it, not crop. Pretty much, all you have to do is resize the image to 176x220, so:
Got to Image > Image Size > Resample Image > Bicubic Sharpener
Don't resize the image like this if it's a GIF, you have to split it into the R/B/G Channels and then resize. Hope it helps!

I mean, you can get clock applications for your phone at http://www.midlet.org but it's an app, not a wallpaper. What kind of phone is it- brand, model number? You might be able to change the size of the display?

A lot of phones have an option to change the way the time is displayed, but I don't know anything about sony-ericsson phones. What I do know is there's no such thing as an image file that tells time, sorry.

#57 | | IT Professional, The Mod! | It's not possible without a KJava application. If you look in settings, date and time, you should be able to find it... otherwise, check jetjar.com... they should have something

#59 | | Junior Member | How can I find out the dimensions of my display? I'm trying to make a wallapaper, but not even the instruction manual provided this info. So I went to Sprint.com and I came across that the screen was 1.56" x 1.25". I made a wallpaper in photoshop exactly that size and when I uploaded it, not only was it too small, but the top portion of the image was cut-off. So I redid the pic in a different size (much bigger this time) and the same thing happened.
Two questions:
How can I find out my exactly screen display size?
Do I need a special program to resize my images for my phone?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

#60 | | Junior Member | Yeah, resizing for Photoshop is pretty straightforward. You can always type "resizing" into the Help option, as well, if you still can't figure it out. For most of the Adobe programs there is a step-by-step tutorial (with pictures) built into the help function.
