i880 code plug

Took me a while to get this to work, but it works...Very well!!!

FYI: A codeplug is, in laymens terms, a loadable copy of your phone software.
Its a file full of settings that your phone reads.
Once you have read the phone and saved it,
you can then send it to one of that admins at nextpimp and they will mod it for you.

8. Now save your codeplug. Make sure and save TWO copies

(First: named BACKUP or ORIGINAL that you will not touch)

(Second: Named Modded or something along those lines that you will MOD or send to someone to MOD)

**To Save go to File - Save As...**

*MAKE SURE AND PUT THE BACKUP IN A SAFE PLACE *SOMEWHERE YOU WONT MISTAKE IT FOR THE MODDED*

9. Now you finished reading your codeplug.

Once it has been modded, open RSS back up open the codeplug and write it back to your phone.

To Write your phone go to File - Write Phone.

*AGAIN DO NOT TOUCH THE PHONE OR CABLE WHILE ITS WRITING*

What is a code plug, i need to learn a little about this phone unlocking, do u think you can show me a lil.

I plus i need help with the I880, how do i get that phone unlocked, as far as the supsidy code how do u get that unlocked, and do u know the site where i can get the usb drivers for the nextel phones, ok thanks.

Hi, i have a i880 and after read my codeplug and make some change on it and write, after reset no change at all on the codeplug. I´m using iden lab v R02.00.01. Help please

No clue, mine worked smootly with that carrier...And I made several changes.
Write the origional CP to the phone and try again.

sorry for post hope this isnt a dead thread. i have done all or the above and can access and mod my code plug but cannot find american dialing and couple other things. i have read about more powerful types of same version rss. could anyone help me out with either a post or pm. thanks in advanced.
