700p users chime in

I'm thinnking of getting the treo 700p when I sign up for verizon in a week. any other users here? I love that it will sync with my Mac. But am worried about the bulkiness/heaviness and haven't heard anything about how well it's reception is.

I love my 650 on Sprint's Network. The reception with the device is great, I'm not sure how Verizon's reception is in your area though. Not bulky after you have it a few days.

I just got the 700p a week ago and i love it! its smaller than the sidekick, i have verizon so i get reception everywhere, and its really light, you should check it out. its been the best investment ever.

I on the other hand am in So. California and am on my 4th Treo 700p with Verizon in the last few months. It's not all Verizon's fault, because it all started with the first version of the Palm update they issued. Since the new revision came out, I will admit the phone has been better in every aspect but I have not been overly happy with Verizon's coverage. Thought I did enough research when choosing the phone and carrier,but will be switching to AT&T when my contract is up in March. Aside from the signal issues for me,my biggest complaint is he fact that if more than one thing is going on at a time, say like a text and hone call come in at the same time, the phone totally freezes and you have to do a soft reset to get it to respond so you lose both. Just a little more insight. It does sync very easy with my Mac though. I used it with PDANet with my old Compaq laptop with great success in case you're interested in that. The Mac will not work though. Hope this helps.
