    I have a HTC Incredible but I do not have a data plan. I was just wondering if Verizon would charge me for using wifi without having a data plan because every other answer I come across says you need a data plan to have wifi so it doesn't matter.

    I think you do need a data plan although HTC direct will be able to tell you surely, just make sure before you start using the data functionality.
