G1 ringtones and wallpapers

I just bought the G1, pretty cool. There are some things I want to know. Why cant I download ring tones and new wallpapers? It seems this device should at least do that...wtf!! My razor was able too and it dosen't have half the applications as this phone does.

well the g1 is the bomb!!!! I did find very cool wallpapers. They are in the android market folder. There you can also find really cool apps.

you can go to any webpage and upload directly to the g1 any wallpapers they have. After the rc30 update you can now load up on any kind of files directly to your microsd card.

its okay, but to be honest i think im gonna switch back to the iphone

I have a g1 Phone and all I have to do is long click on the item and select download once it gives me the option.

You can use the Amazon deal to get mp3's, Or you can do what most Sidekick users have been dying to do: Use your own mp3's as your ringtone. Just add some mp3's to the included SD card and voila, Menu>Set as ringtone.

There are a TON of Wallpapers of awesome quality (including an Android pissing on an Apple, Which is my favorite and what I use) at www.g1wallz.net or .com either way have fun.

g1 is definalty worth it!!!

It is so easy to transfer ringtones and wallpapers to your G1. Just hook it up to your computer, mount, and transfer. There is even a template out that you can open in a photo editor or photoshop for the G1 and mytouch. It is very easy.
