Can't receive any pictures on your g1?

When you click download do you get a message that says 'unable to download' ? This is because you need a data plan/internet on the phone.

John, I just sold a G1 that I had unlocked and was using on AT&T, and bought an iPhone, which I hate. I'm thinking of going back to the G1. I got the "unable to download" message everytime someone sent me an MMS message, either as a picture from their cell phone or as an email from their computer sent to "9995551212@mms.att.net". I have had a data plan since long before I had the G1, so I know that wasn't an issue. Is it a settings issue? According to several web sites I visited, all of my settings were correct. Is this just an inherent problem with running the G1 on AT&T's network?

Yes but what do you do to be able to use the internet on the phone,
so i can download picture messages. D: helpp
