Our employer has installed a new phone system that will email us audio .wav file if someone was to call my office phone and leave a message. I automatically get notfication to my T-Mobile G1 Google phone for new emails. So I goto my email on my G1 and try to open the attach audio file, and my phone tells me that the audio type is not supported on this device. I'm 100% positive that the audio file is .wav format. Can anyone suggest a fix to this? Is there an app that will play .wav files?
So I check the specs to this phone:
Audio Built-in microphone and speaker
Ring tone formats:
AAC, AAC+, AMR-NB, MIDI, MP3, WMA, WMV
40 polyphonic and standard MIDI format 0 and 1 (SMF)/SP MIDI
So I see that it does not support WAV but is there a app that I can install that will play .wav files?
