If you previously owned a Windows Mobile phone, the process to move your contacts to your new Nexus is actually pretty easy.
- Make sure you've recently synced your Windows Mobile phone using ActiveSync
- Your phone will already be synced with Outlook so the next step is here: Export Contacts from Outlook and Import to Nexus One

I found and recommend this third party software called "GodswMobile Contacts Transfer" for Windows Mobile phone to transfer contacts to your laptop computer.
you can Google "Godsw Mobile Contacts Transfer" to free download a Contacts tool.
