    mine is quick as hell...no delays at all. its threaded too like a chat window. no complaints here

    Lots of people like the Handcent app that makes the text thread look a lot like the iphone but personally I use the out of the box app.

    Very fast, try downloading Swype as well, it takes getting used to, but makes things go much faster once you know how to use it effectively.
