The Twitter, Facebook and Google + apps are pre-installed, so you won’t have to install them again. This tutorial will teach you how to set up your social networking accounts.
Installing Twitter
- From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
- Then go to Settings -> tap Accounts & sync -> tap the plus sign icon (+) located at the top right side of the screen.
- Now scroll to and touch Twitter -> in the designated fields, enter your Username and Password and then tap Sign in. Or, if you don’t have a Twitter account set up yet, tap, Sign up to start a new one right away.
- Finally, tap Allow if you agree with the terms and conditions.
- Your Twitter account has been successfully set up. To view the most recent Twitter messages, tap the Home key – the messages will be displayed in the Blinkfeed.
Setting Up Facebook
- From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
- Then tap Facebook -> in the designated fields, enter the desired Email and Password of your Facebook account and tap Log in.
- If you don’t have a Facebook account created yet, tap Sign Up for Facebook to create a new account right away and simply follow the on-screen prompts.
- After you’ve logged in to Facebook, select the desired option for synching your Facebook contacts -> you can select to Sync all, Sync with existing contacts or Don’t sync.
- When ready, tap Done.
- Your Facebook account has been set up!
Setting Up Google +
- From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
- Then tap the Google folder and select Google +.
- Make the desired settings -> when finished tap Next.
- Tap the Instant Upload option to instantly upload to Google + all the photos you take with your HTC One and then tap Done.
- Congratulations! Your Google + account has been set up.
