Create a New Contact:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “People”
- Tap “+” and enter the contact’s name
- Tap the button under “Contact type” and select “Phone” (or choose to sync the contact on an account)
- Tap the button under “Phone” and select a phone number type
- Enter the contact’s phone number and other details in the appropriate fields
- When ready, tap “Save”
Import / Export Contacts:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “People”
- Tap “Menu” > “Manage contacts”
- Tap “Import / Export contacts”
- Select “Export to SD card” or “Import form SD card”
- If necessary, select the contacts you want to transfer, or tap “Menu” > “Select all”
- Tap “Save”
Add Contacts to Speed Dial:
- Tap “Phone” on the home screen
- Tap “Menu” > “Speed dial”
- Tap “+”, followed by the desired contact (Optionally, use the “Search” field)
- Under “Number”, tap the button and select the phone number you want to speed dial
- Under “Location”, select the dial pad number you want to associate with the phone number
- Tap “Save”
Delete a Contact:
- Open the apps drawer and launch “People”
- Tap “Menu” > “Delete contacts”
- Select the contacts you want to remove and tap “Delete”
Access and Clear the Call Log:
- Tap “Phone” on the home screen
- Swipe left or right to access the “Call History” tab
- Select a call log entry for additional details
- To reset the call log, press “Menu” in the “Call history” screen
- Then, tap “Remove call history”
- Tap “Menu” > “Select all” > “Delete”
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Create a New Caller Group:
- On the home screen, tap “Phone”
- Swipe to the “Groups” tab
- Tap “+”
- Enter the desired name for the group and tap “Save”
Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:
- Open “Phone” and access the “Groups” screen
- Select the desired group
- Tap “+” and select the contacts you want to add to the group (optionally, use the “Search” field)
- Tap “Save”
